Huawei Pura 80 Ultra was recently officially launched to the global market as the company's latest flagship with a focus on mobile photography. The device features the world's first mechanical dual telephoto camera that physically switches between 3.7x and 9.4x optical zoom through an innovative system of moving prisms and mirrors. Users can even hear and feel this switching process.

The phone has a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2,848 × 1,276 pixels, a brightness of up to 3,000 nits and a refresh rate of up to 120 frames per second. It also boasts an aluminum body protected by the second generation of Kunlun glass and IP68/IP69 certification. Inside is the Huawei Kirin 9020 mobile processor, supported by 16 GB of system memory and 512 GB or 1 TB of space. The main camera has a 1-inch 50-megapixel sensor with a variable aperture (f/1.6–f/4.0), OIS stabilization and advanced focus. The ultra-wide camera offers 40 megapixels, and an additional spectral sensor ensures accurate color reproduction.

The global version has a 5,170mAh battery with super-fast 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. There are also stereo speakers, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and Wi-Fi 6. However, the global version lacks support for 5G and satellite connectivity, which remains limited to the Chinese edition.

Huawei has so far revealed the price in the United Arab Emirates, where the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra smartphone costs around 1,200 euros. Information on availability in other countries has not yet been confirmed. However, we believe that it will also be available in other global markets.
